Hi there! my name is Jackie G. Almanza. I'm a homeschool mother of 2 children, already for 10+ years and its been challenging and amazing at the same time.

When we started to homeschool, I didn't know what I was doing, I was lost and confused. Looking into several websites trying to find how to start was stressful, overwhalming and never found what I need it. 

Most of us homeschoolers, have started that way. But, it doesn't have to be like that for everyone. 

About 12years ago my adventure started to rise. My husband and I wanted kids, however, it was on my plans to put them on public school. When my first child was born, I enjoyed so much been with him, teaching him all kind of thinks. Then 1year and 6 months later my second child was born and it was more joyful. When they were around 3 and 2, my oldest was having a speech delay condition. I got in contact with a speech therapist and when I met him, it change everything about how I wanted my children to learn and what I wanted for them. 

That's when in a conversation, he mention "Homeschooling". I started to ask so many questions about it, he said that he and his wife were homeschooling and  had several time doing it and it was game changing for their family, specially their kids. 

A few weeks later, he brought me a book about Homeschooling. This was my first Homeschool Book and lead to help me find more about this subject. -I'll leave the link for this book-.​​
